The Kojo Technology ve-02p, like the Crystal Ep, is a grounding terminal that fully utilises Kojo’s established know-how in making grounding products to develop an original and innovative method to massively increase the conductor’s surface area. The ve-02p is specially designed for car audio and comes with a chrysanthemum washer in the screw joint to prevent the screws from loosening or slipping off while idling or driving.

Three plug types are available: RCA plug, 3.5mm stereo mini plug, and M5 screw.

> Conductor Surface Area Unimaginable from Size
The Kojo ve-02p an original design utilising a special dedicated capacitor to enhance the grounding surface area. While the inner conductor of this capacitor is a high-purity aluminium foil strip with an apparent surface area of 100cm2(10cm by 10cm), the special etching treatment on the conductor surface forms countless sponge-like cavities to massively increase the effective conductor surface area to 11,000cm2(110cm by 100cm).

> Wide Compatibility
The Kojo ve-02p supports a wide range of connections: The Kojo ve-02pR which is the most versatile RCA plug type for connecting audio devices; Kojo ve-02pT3 3.5mm stereo mini plug for use with mobile devices such as DAP and headphone amplifiers and the Kojo ve-02pM which is the first car audio model with a M5 screw plug type for connecting speakers. The Kojo ve-02pM speaker connection model is packaged as a set of two for use on the left and right speakers.

> Compact and Expandable
The Kojo ve-02p grounding terminal is composed of three parts: plug, main body and cap to enhance convenience and expandability. A chrysanthemum washer is placed between each part to protect against in-vehicle vibrations.

First, each grounding terminal has a M5 male-female thread structure to allow the plug to be replaced. Second, a spade-type ground cable can be inserted between the plug and main body to connect the Kojo ve-02p to other grounding products for expansion. Third, two Kojo ve-02p can also be connected in series to double the effective grounding surface area to 22,000cm2(220cm by 100cm). When connected in series, the excess plug and cap can be combined and plugged into any unused port of the corresponding plug type to provide a GND pin which you can connect your ground box to.

> Sound Quality Improvement
The Kojo ve-02p will bring you into a realm surpassing 2-channel audio. The improvement in the (auditory S/N) is something to behold. It enhances the clarity of the low-volume passages, refinement, decay and resonance. It also improves the sound-stage width, depth, height and more solid central vocal imaging.

> Design
The ve-02p is designed with the concept of clarity and exquisiteness. It is a functional aesthetic design based on the diameter of a RCA plug. It has a slim and trendy shape with two-tone nickel/gold plating. The product name is printed in silk white to be subtle. The three parts of the grounding terminal are made of machined brass and combine with the gold-plated chrysanthemum washers for effective vibration suppression. The plugs are gold-plated for enhanced reliability while the body and cap are sandblasted to enhance the effective surface area of the metal conductor and provide a coherent design.

> Connection Examples

Example 1) Connecting ve-02pR using the free RCA terminal of AMP

The ve-02pR RCA plug only makes use of the negative pole. Since the positive and negative poles are not short-circuited, it can be connected to either input or output terminals. As the effect on sound quality varies according to the equipment, manufacturer, installation method and location, please judge by listening.

Example 2) Connecting the ve-02pT3 using an unused 3.5mm stereo mini plug terminal on a DAP

The digital output may stop depending on the model of the DAP or smartphone. Please contact the manufacturer for detailed specifications.

Example 3) Connecting the ve-02pM directly to the speaker negative terminal

This is the industry’s first direct speaker connection which promises overwhelming improvements in sound quality. Connect it as close as possible to the speaker’s negative terminal for the best sound quality.
